Here are some driving and parking suggestions! \nIf you live in the area\, please walk or ride a bike. The collapsible wagons work great for hauling your finds! \nDriving? The less traffic trying to get on balboa island\, the better. It gets congested quite easily. \nOne idea is to park off the island like near back bay\, in the Irvine Terrace community or fashion island and then take an uber/lyft to the Newport Beach Yacht Club or Union Bank on bayside and then walk over the bridge onto the island. \nAnother idea is to park in one of the public parking lots on the peninsula and then ride the ferry over for $2.00. \nIf you must park on the island\, arrive early. As you come over the bridge\, turn right into the first alley along North Bay Front and go as far west as you can to park. There is more parking at the west end of the island and this will also keep traffic on marine avenue and the first few blocks much less congested resulting in a better experience for all shoppers and islanders.
